Family: Isn't it about time?

Thought I'd slap some photos up here that Jer and I took while in Utah. It was so good to see all of you, even if just for a minute. Sienna is STILL talking about Grandma's house and Melanie's house. "Marbles, just like Grandma's house!" Anyway, just want to say we love you and will see you at Christmas if not sooner! ;-)

Last minute CA jaunt

So, we took a trip to California last weekend.  It was last minute and based on some free Disneyland tickets one of Ben's former students gave us.  (I am going to post the photos from that day on my blog)

But it turned out Nathan & Jenny were going to San Diego the same weekend.  And had already made plans to go to Legoland on the SAME DAY we had.  So, we surprised the kids with a visit to Legoland combined with the excitement that their cousins were there too!  Tiffany and her girls met us there too, so it was a wonderful fun packed day.

 

We had a delicious dinner afterward at a wonderful burger place by Tiff & Kurt's house. 

  And the next day we took the party to the beach in Del Mar for more fun...

 

There was a sunburn or three in the mix, but it didn't get in the way of all the fun.  I wish we could have done it with everyone.  Next time.
